By now, after almost 8 years of experience we know that biestmilch interacts with the body clock. The body’s circadian rhythm — the internal ‘clock’ that regulates physiological processes — can be shifted by eating more fat, say researchers. This surprising finding suggests that a more complex interplay exists between the body clock and metabolism, with implications for disorders such as diabetes and obesity.
