Some fun at the end of the day when the cows come home

What a day, it has been today. But it ended with the fact that I mangaged to fill in the FDA forms for prior notice. These forms are absolutely necessary to ship our biestmilch to the States. I was really under pressure because we are running out of time. Chris (MCCormack) needs the stuff in the beginning of February, and we are traumatized after our Hawaii venture in October 2007.
Since very long time I didn't have time to watch rocketboom, today after a strange day but a finally happy ending because of succeeding to finalize the forms for the US, I end the day with a meme only »human nature« can draw.

A meme, as defined within memetic theory, constitutes a theoretical unit of cultural information, the building block of culture or cultural evolution which spreads through diffusion propagating from one mind to another analogously to the way in which a gene propagates from one organism to another as a unit of genetic information and of biological evolution. This is what wikipedia has to say about the notion.

Excessive fat intake can throw out the body clock

By now, after almost 8 years of experience we know that biestmilch interacts with the body clock. It can bring  rhythm back for example if you suffer from jetlag or from sleeplessness because of a burn-out, moreover it influences cholesterol levels positively. I found the following article some time ago and I think especially after the holidays and at the beginning of a New Year with all its good resolutions it makes sense to post it.
The article shows nicely how tightly metabolism and gene expressions are interlinked. Our food is contributing so much to our well-being. This fact is unfortunately extremely underestimated. You can spare yourself a lot of troubles by eating good. Biestmilch is an unbelievable powerful food stuff!

Dietary factors shown to influence sleep pattern

Published online 6 November 2007 | Nature | doi:10.1038/450141b

I quoted from Josh Westrich

The body’s circadian rhythm — the internal ‘clock’ that regulates physiological processes — can be shifted by eating more fat, say researchers. This surprising finding suggests that a more complex interplay exists between the body clock and metabolism, with implications for disorders such as diabetes and obesity.
The circadian rhythm is a near-24-hour cycle that is known to be modulated by sunlight and eating schedules. Previous studies have shown that a disrupted circadian rhythm leads people to crave high-fat foods. And a study out recently shows that children who lack sleep risk being overweight.
This is an issue of increasing concern as researchers attempt to elucidate the link between disturbances in circadian rhythm and health conditions such as obesity, heart disease and diabetes.
