Today, we escaped the rainy weather at Captain Cook’s and drove North. It was a great day with bright sunshine, gusty winds and a breath-taking view of Mauna Kea and the observatory glinting in the sun. We collected a lot of footage and are quite content with the day. On our way back we passed by Waimea, home of Parker Ranch. Just to let you know, Hawaii is not only beaches, surfing, palmtrees and hang loose, it is also cowboys and other tough guys, e.g. Ironmen

Fedex returned our packages. Seems they had a tough time passing through several controls to finally end up back home.
