Body feel – training with when without devices?
Or about the art of finding out what it means to really feel good Just recently I spoke to Chris McCormack about this topic. He puts it like this:” My body is my work place. To release a really great performance, I have to feel really good.” It sounds simple, but is not. All of you who train regularly I am sure, can confirm this statement. It is not easy to find out what it means to feel great. Most of the time you don’t know until afterwards when you can put the delivered performance into relation with the perceived condition you were in.
Stress is destabilizing immunity
There has been a long break on my blog here, sorry for that. Some of you may know the reason for my silence. I am in Kona on the Big Island since 10 days, days that have been extremely busy and stressful. My brain is like blown empty due to all the different features that it has to digest. Writing becomes a demanding task in situation like this. But I'll try now. There are only 2 and half days left until race day night, for many a sleepless night. Moving through Kona makes you feel the tension building up more and more. This can bring about more problems for your immune system, and hamper your capabilities to cope with stress.

Yesterday we accompanied our biest athletes Chris McCormack, Ronnie Schildknecht and Sebastian Kienle along the Santa Momica coastline and through the Agoura Hills North of Los Angeles. It was a wonderful, but hot day. Here some impressions from our shooting activities.

Swine flu brings about new awareness of the importance of immunity
Today I  had a long telephone call with Chris. He is back in Sydney and wanted to fly to Singapore for a short holiday with his family. Not that easy as it turned out. Asia is in a turmoil because of the swine flu. At Singapore airport they have implemented a temperature sensor that is screening all visitors to the country. Elevated temperatures mean a quarantine for 7 days. As his daughter Tahlia is still a little bit frail after the cold she had, and her temperature still slightly above normal, Emma and Chris don't want to take the risk. Swine flu is the issue in South Asia, he told me. "It seems that whole Australia is sick", he said. People walk around Sydney with face masks, they prefer to stay home instead of going out. "It is weird", he said, "having been in Europe for so long I missed the months that lead to this escalation of the situation. It is all about immunity and the immune system around me." The flu is a viral infection. The most powerful tool against this illness is a strong immune system. This is straight in the line with biestmilch.

This is our first Biestmilch commercial, and it is partly a condensed condensation ;-) of macca09, my journey around the world with Chris McCormack. Moreover, you see the faces of our biestmilch athletes Yvonne van Vlerken, Nicole Leder and Sebastian Kienle. Thanks a lot to Fritz Oelberg who did all the editing and conceptional work.
