Can you believe it? Such a relaxed atmosphere, so much fun just after the race. Chris had just finished in 3rd place and had really been exhausted, one hour later he was back on his feet again, fit and in a good mood.

Ironman Germany 05: Biest athletes sign swim caps in Frankfurt
It was the Friday before the race when most of the athletes join the pasta party, that we organized the autograph session with our athletes. Everybody was still fairly relaxed, or at least the tension did not show. In the video you see Yvonne van Vlerken, Chris McCormack, Meike Krebs, Sebastian Kienle and Nicole Leder.
A great crew and an awesome atmosphere we got out there. Over all a special day for Biestmilch.

Ironman Germany 02: Doping control, a good mood and some fun
It is always the Friday before the race when all the pro athletes have to cue for the doping control, and that takes time, and this year it took extra long! This gave our biest athletes Nicole Leder, Meike Krebs, and Chris McCormack the time for a chit-chat and some good laughs. Everybody seemed relaxed and in a good mood the race still being 2 nights away.

It’s the 3rd time that Chris came to Frankfurt to race Ironman Germany. He knows the area in the vicinity of the race hotel very well by now. There is the old freshly renovated railway station, a major hub in Europe, and the worldwide famous red light district with sex, drugs and rock’n roll and more …
As far as I have been a witness Chris only took advantage of the broad spectrum of foods at Frankfurt’s railway station
